We offer comprehensive service to assist you and your family in the last step towards becoming a citizen. The Canadian Citizenship is a privilege that is given to Permanent Residents or children of Citizens if they meet the criteria provided by IRCC.

Canadian Citizenship can be achieved in many ways:

  • Naturalization (Grant of Citizenship): The most common path. You must be a permanent resident, meet physical presence requirements, demonstrate language proficiency, pass a citizenship test (if applicable), and meet other eligibility criteria.
  • Citizenship by Birth: Individuals born in Canada automatically become Canadian citizens, regardless of their parents’ immigration status (with limited exceptions).
  • Citizenship by Descent: If you were born outside Canada to at least one Canadian parent, you may be eligible for citizenship by descent, provided your parent was either born in Canada or naturalized before your birth.
  • Adopted Children: Children adopted by Canadian citizens may be eligible for citizenship through a direct grant, without first becoming permanent residents.
  • Resumption of Citizenship: Former Canadian citizens who gave up their citizenship may apply to resume it, depending on their circumstances.

Each category has specific requirements and processes. Consulting with an immigration professional can help you submit the application that is best suited for your scenario. Including all travels as per the requirements is extremely crucial, especially if there are multiple travels involved.
